Balometer® Capture Hoods
A capture hood (flow measuring hood) is an instrument used to measure
volumetric air flows from supply or exhaust diffusers and grilles. Capture
hoods make fast, repeatable measurements. There are several models and
hood sizes available to meet the wide variety of user needs.

Balometer® Capture Hood
An ergonomically-designed electronic balancing tool, it features a
detachable multi-purpose digital manometer that can be used with a
variety of common test and balance tools, such as pitot, air foil,
temperature, RH/temperature probes or a 16-point velocity matrix. |

Standard
Balometer® Capture Hood
This easy to use capture hood uses a mechanical swinging vane anemometer,
so it requires no batteries or power source. It is easy to observe
trend values on the analog display. |

This light weight capture hood utilizes thermal anemometry technology
for excellent low flow accuracy. It features a unique LCD simulated
analog display to show air trends and digital readings. |
